We seek to be an inclusive parish welcoming everyone to worship, prayer, social events and fellowship and reaching out into the community especially to people in need. We have weekly Bible Exploring, morning tea and visiting to the hospitals and aged care facilities as well as food distribution and pastoral care in team with St Luke's Anglicare which is in our former rectory at Maryborough. Our church communities have active, supportive fellowship groups or guilds, including Mother's Union and Anglican Men's Society and we support CRE and Chaplaincy in our primary and secondary schools in the region. Our faithful Lay Liturgical/Pastoral Assistants regularly take Communion Services both in church and to people in Aged Care or their homes and we are blessed with a Serving Team and Choir to uplift our worship. Every person in our Faith Community is valued for being who they are... and we want to grow our community... so drop in and say hullo or telephone us for more information.

Parish Prayer: Gracious and loving God, you create each person in your own likeness and call us to faithfulness on life's journey. Guide us to worship you in truth, serve you and all people in unselfish love, and live our lives in the Mission and Ministry of your Holy Gospel, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

History

Our parish is steeped in the history of the Gold Fields. Some of the buildings throughout the parish reflect this rich history and having preserved their historical significance are cherished by parishioners and visitors alike. The people of the parish are warm and inviting and look forward to welcoming you.

Spanning across four Shires, the parish encompasses the richness of rural experiences and socio economic conditions. Our ministry is to provide the love, support and hope of the Gospel to people engaged in such diverse activities as farming, wine making, manufacturing and service industries, educational facilities and retirement.

Special Activities/Celebrations

Patronal Festivals are celebrated at each parish centre throughout the year. The parish has for over fifty years been preparing Debutantes to presented at the annual Debutante Ball held in Maryborough. There are active Ladies Guilds, Mothers Union, Anglican Men's Society and Anglican Women's Fellowship groups in the parish.
